A personal message to the agent provocateur calling himself "Ranger" "Ryan Payne" (or whatever your real name is).

Psalms Chapter 52
(1.) Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. (2.) Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. (3.) Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. (4.) Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. (5.) God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away , and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. (6.) The righteous also shall see , and fear , and shall laugh at him: (7.) Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

A google search on that name shows a guy who likes to talk to reporters, and was on site more than two weeks ago. Credits himself with being a member of West Mountain Rangers from Montana, and a coordinator with Operation Mutual Aid.

"Selah" was a new one. Had to look it up.

I feel bad when your valuable and limited time is wasted by trolls, fools, and APs.

It sounds like the conference you are going to will have paid people there to disrupt, courtesy of Bloomie. Hope they do not bother you.

Wow! That is a very broad brush. Funny, it seems to be absent any paint, at all.
Perhaps you can lay out your evidence that lead to your conclusion.

Mr Hunt,
I believe the Dutchman set out all the information he needed to. If you need any more info, read Mike's post titled "Discernment, or lack thereof. I've been asked to explain the post below".

I have been coming to SSI for several years and have come to recognize Mike Vanderboegh as an honest, honorable man and a reliable witness. For the record, absent compelling evidence to the contrary, I'm going to take Mike's word on just about anything. I would trust him to be behind me in a firefight. There are only a couple of others about whom I would make that statement.

Why do you come here if you only want to question his judgement? Certainly you have a right to do so and Mike is man enough and honorable enough to print your "questions", but why come read his blog at all if you do not trust his word?

I can only think of one reason to publicly ask such a question - if I have questions I express them privately via email - and that is to attempt to discredit him. That is why, upon reading your comment, I developed the following suspicion:
Gary Hunt = TROLL

Speaking of "laying out evidence"...
When one claims certain credentials, and they actually have them, they tend to be PROUD to demonstrate them when asked to do so. Think old time flyboys and a certain dollar bill they had better have on them when making certain cred claims - that led to them buying a round of drinks if they did not produce it.

Just because Soetoro ignores calls to produce doesn't mean WE do. And if you refuse to produce then you ARENT on our side - you are on Barry's side.

How's that for "paint"?

I'm at a loss to explain why you would quote scripture to describe or challenge or make a point about this man. How about just using your own words?

Not sure if anyone found this guy's info from the link above-if not here's his experience, according to Mr. Payne...

I enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17, and served in F-Co, 51st Infantry, the 18th Airborne Corps Long Range Surveillance Company, a Ranger unit developed during Vietnam as Long Range Patrol, used for missions deep inside enemy controlled territory. I was discharged as a Sergeant/E5, Assistant Team Leader of a LRS Team in 2006. I was involved in the initial invasion of Iraq, OIF I, and returned at the end of 2004 for OIF III. My team planned and executed numerous combat missions in theater, usually at great distance from friendly support. I am not highly decorated nor was I an exceptional member of the unit, but I did the best job I could, and have attempted to hold myself to the Ranger Creed, in service to my country, my community, my family, and employers. Since leaving the service I have pursued a career in multiple facets of construction as an electrician, certified structural welding inspector, cell tower construction project manager, and general construction contractor. I have started and ran 2 companies, both of which saw their end due to government regulations. I moved my family, wife and 2 boys, to Montana from California in order to build a homestead and secure my family, as well as join a local militia unit. I found that there were no such units in the area, so I started one with the help of some dedicated local gentlemen, the West Mountain Rangers, 41st Mountain Field Force.

How about because the Dutchman is a devout Christian and as such is a man of The Book? Creator God COMMANDED his people to be lifelong students of His Word. Besides the passages in Psalms, coming directly from the Creator, would appear to fit this Ryan Payne individual perfectly. Why use one man's words to make a point that The Creator's Word makes so much better? AND it delivers a scathing condemnation as well!

But then why hide behind a mask of anonymity? Even when posting as "anonymous" one can easily add a signature which identifies oneself. I say again, Why hide behind a mask of anonymity - unless one has reason to keep their true identity hidden. Are you, like Mr. "Hunt" nothing more than a troll? Perhaps a Kerodin devotee?

BadCyborg,
I have referenced Mike's articles in my writings, in the past. I find no fault when he writes about subjects that he understands.
I will admit that I am not a regular at SSI, though this article was brought to my attention by someone that knew I was working with Ryan Payne.
So, I asked a question about proof. As soon as I say the Mike had opened the new thread, I responded. That response was finally approved nearly 24 hours after I sent it, but it is up on that thread, and it sets forth what I have to say on the subject and in defense of Mr. Payne.
I do find it interesting that "Anonymous", in another comment on this page, who hides behind that name, well, as he says, "they tend to be PROUD to demonstrate them when asked to do so." So, if you don't wave your own flag, you must be a fraud? I don't by that as any more than a meager opinion, and completely contrary to the concept that a humble man has far more going for himself than the braggadocios man who has to try to impress by words rather than actions.
Mr., Payne;s actions have proven his worth.

Mr. Hunt, I noticed that you are a big fan of Kerodin's blog.

Is Lt. Payne a Kerodin admirer too?

If so, that would explain an awful lot of things.

Gary Hunt said...

Mr. Anonymous (why is that?),
I am not a frequent visitor to Kerodin's site. He contacted me when he wanted to start a discussion on "The Plan for Restoration of Constitutional Government" that I wrote. I was there for that purpose.
Likewise, I am here for the purpose of discussing this current subject. Does that make me an admirer of Vanderboegh?
Regarding the discussion (blog) that was generated from my comment here, it is between me and Venderboegh, since he made the accusation. Though I note that he has not responded to me comment on that thread.
Is that because he opened is mouth without any facts?
